Will my Calathea leaves uncurl?
Calatheas often curl their leaves in an attempt to reduce the amount of light exposure. If you move your plant back into the shade, the leaves should unfurl within a day or two. Never place your Calathea in a sunny window or under an open light source.
How long does it take for Calathea to uncurl?
Place the plant in a small bowl of shallow water till it soaks everything up. After 12-24 hours, you will see how the leaves magically unfurl!
How often should I water my Calathea?
Calatheas enjoy weekly waterings, allowing the top 2′ of soil to dry out partially. In winter, we recommend watering less frequently to prevent overwatering and root rot. This plant is not very drought tolerant, and extended periods of dryness will cause leaf edges to brown.
