- Remove plant from its decorative planter and submerge the bottom of the nursery pot in a bucket filled with 2 inches of water.
- Leave the plant for a few hours or up to a full day to soak up the water.
- Within 2 to 24 hours, come back and see your plant lush and full of life!
Is it normal for rubber plant leaves to droop?
Leaf droop – over or underwatering
Remedy – always check the soil before watering a Rubber Tree. It should be dry to the touch before watering again. If you suspect it’s been overwatered, allow soil to dry out completely before watering again.
Will droopy leaves recover?
If the leaves are drooping and the soil is very dry, start by watering, or even showering your plant. It should perk back up within just a couple of hours but may take a few days to recover fully.
What does an Underwatered ficus look like?
This could slow growth, cause edges of leaves to turn brown and might lead to wilting or dropping of leaves and young shoots. If the “Alii” ficus is a houseplant, you might also see dry soil pull away from the sides of the pot.
